London-based filmmaker Mike Webb of RI was granted unique access to a refugee shelter in China by Helping Hands Korea(HHK). His “Flight from North Korea” paints in stark colors the fate of most North Koreans today as they face famine and tyranny in their own homeland as well as the twin specters of exploitation & repatriation if they dare to flee into the back alleys and mountainsides of their wary neighbor, China. Christian activist and HHK’s founder, Tim Peters, narrates this fast-moving & highly-charged probe into the agony and occasional ecstasy of the North Korean refugee experience in 2007.
